 Past Projects: Automotive Repair Shops

Integrity First Automotive
West Jordan, Utah

This independent shop specializing in high-end imports undertook a multi-stage move and remodel project in 2012.

(Below) The remodel included generous skylights, which enhance the chic black and white design scheme. A full complement of Mohawk lifts, including some moved from the previous location, make this a highly productive operation.

We also supplied a Worth four-post 12,000 lb capacity alignment rack with two rolling jacks and a used Hunter laser alignment system.

Autograff Motor Works
Salt Lake City, Utah

In business since 1996, this independent shop was named "Best Automobile Repair" in Utah in 2005 by the City Weekly Magazine.

In 2011, a redevelopment project forced a move to a larger location several blocks away. Considerable effort was made to re-create the customer-friendly environment from the previous location.

(Above) The new location required extensive remodeling and painting, but the result was a spacious, well-lit work area.

(Below) A shop full of Atlas and Hanmecson lifts and the alignment rack were moved to the new shop. In the photo enlargement, note the custom designed Pro Press air line system, all in copper pipe.

Ogden High School
Ogden, Utah

The school district consolidated its auto shop programs and asked us to move all equipment from Ben Lomond High to Ogden High School. Half the re-allocated space became a mechanical shop, with the other area devoted to body and paint classes.
(Below) We added Goff's hanging curtain walls on both sides of the windowed instructors' office to divide the two shop areas.

Freeway Transmissions
Salt Lake City, Utah

With multiple busy locations throughout the Wasatch Front, this independent specialty shop needs reliable equipment.

To stack 'em deep, ALM lifts can be offset and staggered to maximize the number of income-producing service bays.

A Worth 25,000-pound capacity four-poster makes quick work of removing truck transmissions.
